Recent Collection of Fashion Design Graduates Features for UK Graduate Fashion Week

Mila Sullivan, BFA Fashion Design ’17, shared her senior thesis collection at the Graduate Fashion Week’s first U.S. showcase, which took place in mid-January in New York City. Graduate Fashion Week is a UK-based charity that provides a platform for brilliant undergraduate designers, connecting the dots of education to career and supporting the future of creative institutions around the world. Sullivan was one of the finalists in last year’s International Catwalk Competition during Graduate Fashion Week 2017 in London. News from the showcase was covered in WWD and other media.

While in New York City, members of the Graduate Fashion Week team visited the Pratt Institute, as well as the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Parson School of Design, to get a glimpse of up and coming talent. The January events were a precursor to the UK’s 25th Anniversary June Graduates Fashion Week, where 2018 graduates from 32 universities in 15 countries will showcase their best work.
