Primedia Broadcasting appoints Kelvin Storie as Director of Intelligence

Primedia Group, the parent company of leading radio brands 947, 702, Kfm 94.5, CapeTalk and Eyewitness News, today announced the appointment of Kelvin Storie as Chief Intelligence Officer.

Kelvin’s story

The radio space is constantly changing, and it is essential for Primedia to always have a clear picture of where the media industry is heading. It also speaks to the fickle behavior of our consumers and listeners, the company needs to know how to best serve them to keep them engaged and informed.

With his flair as a media strategist and deep knowledge in data analytics, Storie will collaborate and serve the business organization with business intelligence solutions seamlessly.

Storie brings a multidisciplinary set of skills that will enable data-driven decision-making in the organization for internal and external intelligence. He is a former Media Intelligence Manager (SA & SSA) at DStv Media Sales, Multichoice, with a role spanning strategy, insight and planning. Previously, he was on the agency side as Group Managing Director of Vizeum South Africa. Thus, he brings a wealth of both depth and breadth of media knowledge.

Additionally, through Storie’s leadership, Primedia will formulate business models and partnership negotiations to optimize opportunities in other spheres of business and extrapolate return models.
