Award-winning interior design firm Clodagh Design is looking for a proactive, ambitious and energetic Operations Assistant to perform a unique and diverse set of duties, which are outlined but not limited to the items to follow. You will be the glue that holds things together in our studio. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the diversity of daily tasks. We are a dynamic studio immersed in several universes — design, art, culture, charity, eco-responsible products and fashion — and the person who will occupy this position will be involved in each universe. We are a fun, cheerful and hardworking studio looking for someone with very strong organizational skills, but the intangibles are almost equally important such as the ability to go with the flow, have fun and approach challenges. tasks with a creative and open mind. Operations assistant:

Assist the Director of Operations and the principle of the firm.

Act as a receptionist to receive and distribute packages and mail.

Perform studio opening duties – turn on lights, monitors, aromatherapy, etc.

Order and monitor supplies and place food orders.

Assist and oversee reception for occasional studio events and client meetings.

Support philanthropic initiatives.

Assist with public relations, social media, events, publications and product launches.

Participate in email marketing campaigns.

Assist the design team with various needs, for example: sourcing samples from the showroom, compiling presentation panels, ordering supplies, sending mailings, etc.

Miscellaneous tasks such as bank deposits, running for supplies, running errands,

You must be organized, energetic, reliable, self-starter and able to multi-task.

Key Qualifications:

  • Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign) and all social media platforms using a PC is a huge plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
  • Polished, energetic with a strong visual sense.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and enthusiastic team player.
