New Balance 574 Tokyo Design Studio Vachetta Tan MS574TVT

New Balance Tokyo Design Studio is known for producing upgraded versions of the brand’s lifestyle offerings, and this season its version of the 574 is brought back to center stage. Only a few colorways of the contemporary model have seen the light of day since its inception, and this recently unveiled “Vachetta Tan” colorway is one of the most luxurious to date.

The most prominent feature of its upper half is its leather overlays that are positioned around the toes, over the quarter sections, and along the heels, all of which are outfitted with a “Vachetta Tan” exterior. Beneath these panels is a layer of cotton in a herringbone pattern that protrudes from the collars, toes and tongues. Attached to the lower end of the heel is a mold that is coated in a creamy finish and embossed with an “NB” logo. Semi-thick midsole pieces are split between beige and gray stripes while a toothy outsole ties it all together with a beige paint job.

Parties looking to buy them can find retailers like Up There that are stocking them right now for $205 USD.

In other sneaker news, streetwear retailer Concepts is releasing New Balance 9060 “Workwear” and “Indigo” colorways early.
