Local interior design studio goes worldwide | Local News

Bennett has lived and traveled to many different places around the world. While growing her business, she started with very limited resources to create what is now a successful business on her own.

“So in 2006 we moved to Costa Rica where we started from a chicken, donkey and turkey, literally,” Bennett said. “We started importing American products, basically they were like the high end of American products… we expanded into Nicaragua five years later, then Ecuador, then Colombia. “

After expanding to different countries, Bennett decided she wanted to return home and plant her roots in Morganton. She wanted more time with her growing family while continuing to develop her career.

“So we went back to Morganton for the family,” Bennett said. “I started getting clients when I wanted to because I still work for other companies. Then, during the pandemic, I kind of changed my job. I bought some really big houses, one in South Carolina, a few houses here in Morganton and I really started to show our abilities… There was really nothing going on here, so it just blew up.

As a mother of three daughters, Bennett is passionate about empowering women and ensuring that women business leaders and entrepreneurs mentor girls to be successful too.
