SEATTLE & LOS ANGELES – (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Today Glamhive and Mary Kay Global Design Studio announce Step & Repeat, the very first style show to launch on TikTok. Step & Repeat is a five-week style contest and mentorship program where wardrobe stylists, makeup artists and hairstylists from all over the world compete in the fast-paced environment of TikTok to ensure the success of their business. The international competition is open to everyone and will go live on June 22 on TikTok.

The TikTok community has grown at an incredible rate since the start of the pandemic, and unique new talents are being discovered on the platform daily. The more ambitious are turning their popularity into business opportunities, turning entertainment into entrepreneurship, a mindset supported and praised by both Glamhive and Mary Kay, especially now as the world opens up to a “new normal” with many of them embarking on new careers.

Both companies believe now is the time to rally talent – from established stars to uncovered stars – to help them develop their personal brands, one of the keys to the style industry and entrepreneurial success. So, they are announcing Step & Repeat, the very first global style contest on TikTok, offering structure, recognition and rewards to the winners every week.

Glamhive and the Mary Kay Global Design Studio have teamed up to create Step & Repeat as a global stage open to anyone who wants to explode onto the international stage and be recognized for their incredible wardrobe, makeup and fashion talents. hairdressing.

Each week, Step & Repeat host Johnny Wujek (Celebrity Clients: Katy Perry and Mariah Carey) will announce a themed challenge, and TikTok users will create their best wardrobe, makeup, or hairstyle look for that theme. Videos will incorporate the show’s personalized sound, “Step & Repeat”, the hashtag #stepandrepeat and the hashtag associated with each challenge, allowing all entries to be discovered by the show’s judges.

Celebrity TV show judges Nicole Chavez (famous clients include: Scarlett Johansson, Kristen Bell and Catherine Zeta-Jones), Claire Sulmers (CEO and founder of the media and e-commerce company, Fashion Bomb Daily) and Andrew Fitzsimons (celebrity clients include: The Kardashians) will duo the best looks from around the world and vote for the winners in each category. At the end of each challenge, host Johnny Wujek will announce the winner in each category: wardrobe, makeup and hairstyle. Each winner will receive a cash prize and an hour-long mentoring session with one of nineteen industry leaders who come together to provide mentorship.

At the end of the five weeks, Step & Repeat will announce an overall winner for each category, crowning them with the best in wardrobe, makeup and hairstyle based on entries from around the world.
