BRP announces expansion and new design studio in Europe

In this new studio, design professionals will make greater use of BRP’s diversified know-how and will focus on carrying out studies of advanced concepts in the world of sustainable mobility, among others. Due to its geographic proximity and understanding of market dynamics, the facility is also ideally placed to provide additional design services to internal partners based in Europe and Scandinavia like Rotax and Lynx.

BRP evaluated several locations for its new design studio. In the end, the team was charmed by what the south of France has to offer. Recognized as a center for research in green technologies, the region also benefits from an ideal climate and magnificent landscapes. The lifestyle of the French Riviera and the region’s rich mix of art, culture and architecture were also taken into account when making the decision.

“We are extremely proud of this new Design Studio. It will allow us to continue to diversify our workforce and attract top design professionals from around the world. Europe. I am sure that Sophia-Antipolis will be a wonderful land of ideas and inspiration which will stimulate our teams to create very innovative concepts and designs,” said Denis Lapointe, Senior Vice President, Design, Innovation & Creative Services. “Design and innovation are an integral part of BRP’s DNA. We look forward to welcoming new members to our world-class design team and working together to push the boundaries of innovation even further,” he added.

The European design studio team will be led by a dedicated design manager and comprised of multiple product, transportation and CAD designers. Recruitment is now officially underway. Please visit for more information on career opportunities.

BRP would like to thank the institutional players who welcomed and supported our project, namely Team Côte d’Azur and the local public authorities.
